Photo Journal: A Few of My Favorite Moments From Summer
A look back at a few photos that capture my summer of 2026.

Labor Day weekend may be considered the unofficial end of summer, but I’m not ready to give it up just yet. There are still a few more weeks left, and I plan to enjoy them to the fullest, with plenty of beach days, boat days, ice cream nights, and everything else that makes summer so special.
The end of summer always feels a little bittersweet when you live in a coastal town. Some of my favorite small businesses are closing up for the season, and next summer feels so far away. But Labor Day also means locals’ summer is here, and we get to enjoy the best weather of the summer season with way less crowds and traffic. It’s such a great time of year, even if it’s hard to see the season coming to an end.
